At Beacon Lighting, our ceiling fans are designed to suit a wide range of homes and preferences. Depending on whether your fan is AC or DC, it may include a wall controller, a remote control, or both.
Here’s a simple guide to help you understand what’s included with your fan and what accessories you can add.
AC Ceiling Fans
Most of our AC ceiling fans come standard with a 3-speed wall controller, allowing you to turn the fan on or off and choose between three speed settings.
If you’d prefer the flexibility of using a remote, you can upgrade your fan with one of our optional remote control kits:
Slimline Remote Control Kit
LCD Remote Control Kit
When a remote control kit is installed, the wall controller is replaced with an isolation switch. This keeps your fan safely connected to power while giving you full control from the remote.
For details on your specific model, check the Product Description or Specifications on the fan’s product page.
DC Ceiling Fans
Most of our DC ceiling fans include a 6 or higher speed remote control as standard, offering smooth speed control, reverse function, and in some cases, additional features like a timer.
However, there are a few DC models that use a 3-speed wall switch instead of a remote control.
These models are:
Sainz
Moto
Calypso DC
Tactic
One unique model, the Summit, includes both a remote control and a digital wall controller for added convenience and flexibility.
For details on your specific model, check the Product Description or Specifications on the fan’s product page.
